Elsker Launches Privacy-First Wedding Planning Platform With 29 Cultural Tradition Libraries

Ravn Ltd today announced the public beta launch of Elsker (elsker.app), a privacy-first wedding planning platform that combines comprehensive planning tools with the largest collection of cultural wedding tradition libraries available in a single application.
Unlike dominant wedding planning platforms that monetize user data through vendor marketplaces and targeted advertising, Elsker operates on a straightforward paid model: a one-time $49 payment for couples or $39 per month for professional wedding planners. The platform does not run ads, does not operate a vendor marketplace, and does not sell user data to vendors.
Elsker ships with 29 cultural wedding tradition libraries spanning African American, Brazilian, Buddhist, Caribbean, Chinese, Christian, Ethiopian, Filipino, French, German, Greek Orthodox, Hawaiian, Hindu, Irish, Italian, Japanese, Jewish, Korean, Mexican, Muslim, Native American, Polish, Portuguese, Scandinavian, Secular Modern, Sikh, Southern US, Vietnamese, and West African traditions. Each library includes ceremony guides, customs, timeline recommendations, and culturally specific checklist items that integrate directly into the planning workflow.
The platform includes a free Tradition Composer tool that allows couples to blend up to three cultural traditions and generates a personalized PDF guide. Ten pre-built blending combination guides are also available for common multicultural pairings.
Core planning features include budget tracking, guest management with RSVP functionality, a vendor hub covering 15 categories, a seating chart builder, a six-phase planning journey with interactive checklists, and the ability to create wedding websites with public RSVP pages. The platform supports 13 languages.
Elsker is self-hosted on Hetzner infrastructure rather than major cloud providers, and is built with Next.js, React, PostgreSQL, and TypeScript. The platform is currently in public beta, with founding member pricing locked in permanently for early adopters.
Enterprise pricing is available for wedding planning agencies and venues requiring custom integrations.
